My wife and I had dinner at Zydeco this evening. She had the pork chop and I had the blackened ribeye. It had to be the best ribeye I have ever had. I think of myself as a ribeye snob. They did not disappoint.

Really enjoyed Zydeco! Service was excellent, especially considering they were full and we had no reservations. We got a good table in only 10-15 minutes. We ordered from the Wine menu, Dinner Menu, Special menu and Dessert menu. Everything was as described and really good. Interior was clean, lively and has that balance between casual and moderately formal. You could attend however you're dressed and feel comfortable. I'd definitely return.

Awesome place! We couldn't find a reservation but we did find a seat at the bar. Ricky, the bartender, was awesome, quick witted, funny and he knew his stuff. Recommended frog legs, not a big frog leg guy, but these were hands down the best ones I have ever had. I ordered the bbq ribs, awesome and the wife the blackened fish. She loved it. Over all great portions, great atmosphere and amazing staff. I can't wait to visit Bend again, hopefully soon!

Delicious food. I had the BBQ shrimp and the ettoufee. Lots of flavor in both dishes. Don't forget about the key lime pie! The best part was our service. Our server was fantastic, I don't remember her name but she had beautiful arm tattoos and was very personable and provided great recommendations and personalized service.

This time I went for dinner with 2 other people. All our dishes were well prepared and delicious! Caesar salads, blackened redfish, jambalaya and cavatappi pasta. I recommend all of them. The service was excellent. I thought it would be noisy but was pleasantly surprised when it was not.

Return visit to this restaurant on our trip to Bend. We had a 7:00 reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. Our waiter was great. He made great food and wine recommendations. We started with a nice Cabernet and ordered the barbecue shrimp along with the flatbread and oil. The shrimp was especially delicious. For entrees we ordered the redfish, shrimp jambalaya, crispy chicken with rice, and the filet. All dishes were very good. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare and very tasty. The restaurant is very elegant and a really nice place to dine.

I can't believe that I have not done a review for Zydeco. This is our favorite place in Bend. Discovered it 5 years ago when considering our move here. Have been many times since. Food and service top notch. Our visit last night no exception. Always get bbq shrimp starter and usually Redfish finished off with key lime pie. Last night I tried Jambalaya and it did not disappoint. Serving so large I will have it for dinner at home tonight. Have complained in the past that it can be very loud when big crowds which is hard for us older guys so we now go early. In some ways I miss the energy of the crowd but at least I can converse Don't go if you are prone to sticker shock as it is expensive but worth the treat occasionally. You get what you pay for

Had the best meal while on vacation in Bend. This restaurant is in the downtown area, which seems to have very limited parking on the weekend evenings. I was staying in the Old Mill District, so it was a nice walk to downtown. Streets were safe, and the weather was perfect to sit outside for dinner. I made a reservation and am glad that I did as they were pretty busy that night. We were seated out front, and the table was perfect. It had a nice caraf of cold water to sip while looking at the menu. We ordered drinks, and I can honestly say that they made me the best Skinny Margarita. The menu had some great choices. We started with the crab cake, which was a special that night, and it was crispy on the outside and so flavorful on the inside. We also got the house smoked trout dip with lavosh crackers. It came with a small bottle with a dropper for the hot sauce. The appetizer size was great for table sharing, and since we devoured the two appetizers, we decided to share an entree. We liked the Redfish description from the menu, and our server suggested that we have it blackened. Wow! Great choice as it was absolutely delicious. It was crispy on the edges and tender throughout. The Zydeco sauce was outstanding. This was my second visit here, and I will definitely come back again.
